UN Food and Agriculture Organization Year of the Pulse Chef
Chef Ron Pickarski was honored to be selected as one of ten international chefs and represent North America for the United Nation's 2016 Year of the Pulse. The word "pulse" is used to indicated legumes - beans, peas, and lentils of any kind. Chef Ron's work promoting pulses as a center-of-the-plate protein was featured in a special UN Food and Agriculture publication about pulses. He also traveled extensively to promote his recipes and speak to various groups about the benefits of adding pulses to your diet.
